Amitabh Bachchan turns of 69 : Bollywood Legend
First of all Mr. Amitabh Bachchan,
Many Happy Returns of the Day. Here is wishing you a Awesome
Star of the millennium...Amitabh Bachchan has been given many epithets in his four-decade long career in Bollywood. And the actor, who turns 69 Tuesday, is now trying to harness the online medium to reach out to the very people who showered these accolades on him - his fans.
He today wrote on his blog at http://bigb.bigadda.com
I was born today ! 11th of October 1942 in Allahabad in a small private maternity outfit run by a missionary Dr Brar, in the most crowded market area of the city, Katra. I was brought home by my parents in the best possible transport machinery that they could afford – a tonga ! Wrapped in a ‘gudari’ I still refer to many that I am a ‘gudari ka lal’ – a human that is affiliated with the cheapest form of clothing. I loved being in that form and still love it. I have noticed on many occasions that the life and the style of those that live in such conditions, is closest to me in temperament. There is a certain sense of attachment every time I come in close contact with people and circumstances that narrate to me stories of the time. That is my most alluring possession. The complete ease that I feel and identify with when in the company of those that inhabit those lands.
As I step into the 70′s unabashedly, I need to thank several of those that I feel were the ones that seemed distressed with the number of my age. But no they are not so ! When they speak of age and involvement, why must we only look upon the aged, onto those that show the ravishes of time and the hunger of recognition. I would imagine that we must let the world be as it is and allow whatever shape it desires to take vis a vis individuals.
I have only just returned from KBC and it has been a grueling day, apart of course from the fact that tonight there were several from the blog that adorned the front rows of the audience, and what a pleasure it was to be in their company. The zip and the zane went up several notches higher knowing that they were there and there in support.
I has spoken about my experience on the Tv about the serial I saw and the artists of which I admired. The serial was ‘Bade Achche Lagte Ho’ and the artists were Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. Original, relaxed meaningful and competent. Last night they were down on the set of KBC and playing for a charity that was going to help the poor of cancer, and to be able to build a center for paraplegics. Such warmth and such a delight to be in their company. Natural, relaxed and without a glimmer of their star status, they seemed to have impressed all in their assessment of me.
I must to bed now. I have a busy day tomorrow … and the morrow and the morrow and the morrow !!
Love to all
Amitabh Bachchan

"Thank you all once again for all the Birthday wishes ... I am so humbled and filled with pride .. you make it all happen .. my love"
His quotes to other sites are :
I have never really been confident about my career at any stage.
Everyone must accept "that we will age and age is not always flattering".
His thoughts on working in Hollywood: "You don't see Indians in Hollywood films around which a story can revolve. As soon as we have a social presence in your society, I am sure there will be many actors from our part of the world that will be acting in Hollywood films. I have always been a great admirer of Marlon Brando, Al Paccinno, Robert De Niro. I would love to walk into the frame, hold their briefcase!"
I wish I had time to learn all the languages of our country, I wish I knew how to play a musical instrument. There are many things that I feel I have missed out on.

Do not let your life go so easily
It's 00:10 of 18th July.. I am just watching news..
STAR News flashing breaking news. It's family drown in a river.. it is in PatalNagar at Indore.. another flash is another disaster happen today is Bus fall in river at AshokNagar (M.P.)..
AAJTAK flashing the same..
after 9 minutes.. video comes out.. AAJTAK showing little maturity that they are showing water flow and family standing in the center of fall.. wave comes.. videos paused with red warning [can not show after this ] but STAR showing video without any editing..
Family is standing in center of river nearer to water fall.. they went in center to take nice pic.. water flow increase and force of a strong wave make camera to take last pic of them.. a young girl died and two are missing.. other two are saved but injured..
Second news almost same.. bus driver shows courage to run bus and it fell into river.. all passengers are still
missing.
This is not one day news.. manier times we see people loosing their lives in crossing the signal or fall from height or due to high speed or drowning etc..
What was the main reason to go inside water whose force you don't know.. just for a good click?? you can click it in photoshop.. you are not trained how to save yourself when you be in such situation then why should you take such a risk which may take you to end your life.. totally useless..
Your office time 10 o'clock.. leaving from home at 9:50 and run your bike over 80.. what's worth in it? just a small stone can lead you to your death.. 10 kms road to office from home won't take more than 15 minutes.
if you go at average 40 km/hr it will take 15 minutes.. if you go with 60 km/hr it will be 10 minutes.. just for 5 minutes you taking potential risk everyday.. and everyday you won't get luck with you.. it's just one day game and you will be out of this world.
You are one km away from traffic signal. it's green.. you accelerate your speed try your best to cross the signal even if it's yellow or sometimes red.. if it turns from green to yellow you should think to stop if you are little far.. again it's 3 minutes stop.. so 3 minutes are not more important than life.
Railway crossing gate has the same situation.. even if it's closed people use to cross themselves as well as their bikes/cycles from side.. even if train is far but visible, then too people use to cross the railway crossing gate.. if railway wants us to cross gates in such a manner why should railway ministry spend millions of rupee behind railway crossing gates and manpower..
Life is not so easy that you allowing death to take your life away.. today all are so busy that no one getting time to think atleast little cares in routine life. I was just reading sites related to public awareness. all says..
"समय मूल्यवान है किन्तु जीवन उससे अधिक!"
"TIME IS IMPORTANT BUT NOT MORE THAN YOUR LIFE"
Please do take care of yourself and your dear ones.. Just think once before taking any action in your life..
May God Bless you all..

As I grow up
As I grow up..
There will be many moments that I will disappoint a lot of people but I know that, I can’t always please everyone! So I will accept it!
I will see some people go away… But I can’t hold on to everyone forever! And I definitely can’t hold onto someone who doesn't want to stay, So I won’t feel guilty about letting go.
I will laugh and I will know I must have done something right, So I will enjoy it.
I will get frustrated, but I know that, I can’t always control everything, so I will go along with the flow.
I will fail, but I know that it’s not the end of the world, so I will gulp it down!
I will learn that, I can’t always trust everyone, but I know that, I can always trust myself.
I will repeat some of the same stupid mistakes I have done over the years, and I will learn that I still haven’t learned the lesson… But I will know that, it’s my weakness.

The moment I saw you cry
The moment I saw you cry
My world came crashing down
To see those tears fall from your eyes
Turned my smile into a frown
I wanted to hold you
Make everything all right
But there was nothing I could do
To stop you from crying tonight
I felt like a failure
To myself and to you
But you said that was nothing
That I could do
I held you close
And made your pain my own
I tried to make it feel
Like you were home
You kissed me softly
Said you would be all right
But there was something in your eyes
That had me worried that night
And to this day I promise
Not to let you cry alone
And to take the pain you feel
And make it my own
My world came crashing down
To see those tears fall from your eyes
Turned my smile into a frown
I wanted to hold you
Make everything all right
But there was nothing I could do
To stop you from crying tonight
I felt like a failure
To myself and to you
But you said that was nothing

Faith
Story told by a man which is most frightening yet thought-provoking experiences of his life.
He had been on a long flight. The first warning of the approaching problems came when the sign on the airplane flashed on: "Fasten your seat belts."
Then, after a while, a calm voice said, "We shall not be serving the beverages at this time as we are expecting a little turbulence. Please be sure your seat belt is fastened."
As he looked around the aircraft, it became obvious that many of the passengers were becoming apprehensive. Later, the voice of the announcer said, "We are so sorry that we are unable to serve the meal at this time. The turbulence is still ahead of us."
And then the storm broke. The ominous cracks of thunder could be heard even above the roar of the engines. Lightening lit up the darkening skies and within moments that great plane was like a cork tossed around on a celestial ocean. One moment the airplane was lifted on terrific currents of air; the next, it dropped as if it were about to crash.
The man confessed that he shared the discomfort and fear of those around him. He said, "As I looked around the plane, I could see that nearly all the passengers were upset and alarmed. Some were praying.
The future seemed ominous and many were wondering if they would make it through the storm. And then, I suddenly saw a girl to whom the storm meant nothing. She had tucked her feet beneath her as she sat on her seat and was reading a book.
Everything within her small world was calm and orderly. Sometimes she closed her eyes, then she would read again; then she would straighten her legs, but worry and fear were not in her world. When the plane was being buffeted by the terrible storm, when it lurched this way and that, as it rose and fell with frightening severity, when all the adults were scared half to death, that marvelous child was completely composed and unafraid."
The man could hardly believe his eyes. It was not surprising therefore, that when the plane finally reached its destination and all the passengers were hurrying to disembark, he lingered to speak to the girl whom he had watched for such a long time.
Having commented about the storm and behavior of the plane, he asked why she had not been afraid.
The sweet child replied,
"Sir, my Dad is the pilot and he is taking me home."
When you are sure of your self, your confident level is steady and you are never shaky you do the things calmly and successfully.
